im a professional photographer and have traveled to some of the most beautiful places on earth and was very taken aback by saud beach. the water is so blue! lined with palms and beautiful white sand. one of the cleanest beaches i have seen in my travels. my wife and i stayed for a few nights at the saud beach resort and were happy with the service and facility's. the staff was polite and helpful and the food was ok. we really enjoyed the beach and had a nice swim. the bird sanctuary behind the hotel was a highlight as i had my large telephoto lens and was able to capture some images of the local wildlife. i look forward to the next time im in pagudpud!

Great place to stay when in Pagudpud. Good service, clean surroundings, comfortable rooms. Wifi availability is a plus. Too bad we were unable to stay longer.

  • “Still the best in Pagudpud”

    Reviewed January 15, 2011

I have visited Pagudpud several times, and stayed in other resorts other times. The last was in January 2011, in another resort. I regretted having experimented with the other. Saud Beach resort has the best restaurant in Pagudpud, with the best view of the ocean. excellent staff, too. The rooms are nice and clean, coconut trees in front, between the cottage and the sea. A real tropical setting. The beach is beautiful, the water crystal clear, and the sand white. The portion in front of the restaurant can be deep, so I go to the left end where the swimming area is better. Loved the local dish "bagnet", dried pork fried crispy with fish sauce and tomatoes to go with it. Mouthwatering !

  • ““Amazing Location””

I have stayed here twice - the reason I return is the location is unbeatable. It is on the best part of the beach where the sand is softest and the water has less coral. For food I recommend going down the beach for 2 minutes to Apo Idon or Terra Rika, less expensive, more selection and better quality. Also, you can eat on the waters edge whereas at Del Mare you cannot. Rooms are a little tired but ok. Staff is great and friendly. Internet did not work while I was there even though it is advertised.
